By visiting our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the website.

1. About Sarangi, the Store

Sarangi, the Store is an online store offering selected products, including silver jewellery, silver idols, silver objects, silver chains, cufflinks, physical artworks, art prints, digital downloads and related products.

Sarangi, the Store is a unit of Rasvihar, based in Chennai, India.

2. Use of Our Website

You may use this website only for lawful purposes.

You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, or use the website in any manner that may harm Sarangi, the Store, its customers, partners or service providers.

We may restrict access, remove content, refuse service or cancel an order where we reasonably believe that the website or our services are being misused.

3. Products, Materials and Descriptions

We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our products accurately.

However, colours, finishes, textures and proportions may appear slightly different because of photography, lighting, screen settings, printing methods or the handmade nature of certain products.

Product weights, dimensions, materials, purity and other specifications are provided as accurately as reasonably possible. Minor variations may occur unless a specification has been expressly agreed for a customised or specially commissioned product.

Silver may naturally tarnish over time. Tarnishing is a normal characteristic of silver and is not, by itself, considered a manufacturing defect.

For artworks, prints and digital products, colours may vary according to the screen, paper, printer, ink, printing method, framing and display conditions.

4. Product Availability

Products displayed on the website are subject to availability. Certain products may be available only in limited quantities.

We may discontinue, modify, update or remove a product from the website at any time.

If an ordered product becomes unavailable, we will contact you and provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, an alternative product, store credit or cancellation and refund. Any alternative resolution will be offered for your acceptance.

5. Orders

You may place an order by adding products to your cart and completing the checkout process.

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email or another available communication channel. This acknowledges receipt of the order. Final acceptance remains subject to successful payment, product availability, verification and processing.

We may refuse or cancel an order because of product unavailability, an evident pricing or listing error, payment failure, suspected fraud, incorrect information, regulatory restrictions or delivery limitations.

If we cancel a paid order, the amount paid will be refunded to the original payment method.

6. Pricing, GST and Other Charges

Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees unless otherwise stated.

Displayed prices are inclusive of applicable GST unless expressly stated otherwise.

Any applicable shipping charge or other fee will be shown at checkout before payment.

We may change prices at any time. A price change will not affect an order already accepted, except where the displayed price resulted from an evident error. If such an error affects your order, we will inform you before proceeding.

7. Payments

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. These may include UPI, net banking, debit cards, credit cards and other payment options provided by the payment gateway.

Payments are processed through third-party payment service providers. We do not directly store your complete card or banking details.

Orders will ordinarily be processed only after successful payment confirmation.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Physical products are currently shipped only to serviceable locations within India.

We do not ship silver products, jewellery, idols, physical artworks, art prints or any other physical products outside India.

Eligible physical orders within India are shipped free of charge using an insured and trackable delivery service, unless an exceptional charge is clearly displayed at checkout.

The estimated transit time is ordinarily 3–5 business days after dispatch. Processing or production time before dispatch varies by product and is separate from the transit time.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed dates. Delivery may be affected by courier operations, public holidays, weather, transport disruption, incorrect address information or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

9. Digital Products

Digital products are delivered electronically and do not require physical shipping. Eligible digital products may be made available to customers outside India.

Digital products are generally non-returnable and non-cancellable once access or download has been provided.

If a digital product is defective, corrupted, inaccessible or materially different from its description because of an error on our part, we will provide a corrected file or arrange re-delivery.

If we cannot correct or deliver the purchased digital product within a reasonable period, a refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, digital products are licensed for the purchaser’s personal, non-commercial use only. They may not be resold, redistributed, sublicensed, shared publicly, uploaded for resale, reproduced for commercial purposes or incorporated into products offered for sale without our prior written permission.

Purchasing a digital product does not transfer its copyright or other intellectual-property rights to the purchaser.

10. Artworks and Art Prints

Physical artworks and art prints may be offered in the formats described on the relevant product page.

The product page may specify the print size, paper, material, finish, framing, edition, production time and other applicable details.

Minor variations may occur between a screen preview and the final physical product because of differences in displays, materials and printing processes.

Physical artworks and art prints are currently shipped only within India.

11. Returns, Exchanges and Cancellations

Returns, replacements, exchanges, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations Policy.

Custom-made, personalised, altered or specially commissioned products cannot ordinarily be returned or cancelled after production has commenced, except where they are damaged, defective, incorrect or materially different from the agreed specifications.

Digital products are generally non-returnable and non-cancellable once access or download has been provided, subject to the remedies stated in these Terms and our Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations Policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies available to customers under applicable law.

12. Gift Packaging

Gift packaging may be available for eligible products. Availability may vary according to the product’s type, size and delivery requirements.

Gift packaging does not change a product’s eligibility for return, replacement, exchange, cancellation or refund.

13. Accuracy of Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep the website’s information accurate and current. However, errors may occasionally occur in product descriptions, specifications, prices, availability, images or delivery estimates.

We may correct an error and update the relevant information.
