Borrowing its colour from liquid garnets, this silk sari is strewn with golden tendrils and flowers across the body. The slender gold border is crowned with a row of paisleys. The garnet pallu is a symphony of mango and floral motifs in gold, snugly fitted into diagonal gold checks. Nothing more than a plain blouse with running border is needed to add the final touch to this sari, yet another handwoven classic from Sarangi.

The Kanjivaram - arguably the queen of silks - reigns supreme as the most versatile, breathable, durable, and exquisitely comfortable sari known to the world. It is a natural insulator and possesses the unique ability to draw moisture away from your skin. To own a Kanjivaram is to know that each sari is so different and so special that no two can ever be exactly alike.
