The broken white body of this Maheshwari silk-cotton sari is smothered with stencilled checks in black, lending the body a shade of cloudy gray. The wide black border on both ends is topped with a stripe of gold swirls, whilst the selvedge is smeared with a bright chilly red. The black panel on the pallu boasts of white checks and is flanked by bronze and white stripes with black checks.
