A row of temple motifs in gold demarcate the colourful double-sided border, made up of symmetrical checks in ink blue, rani pink, garnet and plum. Horizontal stripes in plum and garnet highlight the pallu, whilst a veil of playful gold leaf motifs are splashed across.
